DEEP Solution
The DEEP Solution provides you with a digital measure builder and a collaboration platform with supporting services to take you from innovation to qualified digital measure.
The Digital Measure Builder offers a structured way to create your digital measures, which you can publish to your private catalog or share publically to benefit the the ecosystem.
The Collaborative Development Platform offers missions in a secure environment where you can co-create measures with your internal teams or collaborate with industry experts and health authorities.
DEEP provides a platform and strategic and tactical services to help you develop your measures end-to-end.
The Digital Measure Builder
The Digital Measure Builder enables the construction of robust, reusable measures that are aligned to regulatory standards and protocols. The Builder is based on a modular, structured model (the Stack Model) for development of standardised digital endpoints
Each block holds multiple layers of information and its own validation and regulatory intelligence. The builder allows attaching evidence to each layer, allowing visibility across different stacks that may be constructed using same or related layers. The TSP acts as a bridge between a definition and a measurement solution by providing an accepted profile to measure the given definition.
Why use the Digital Measure Builder to construct your digital measures?
Lifecycle Management
Structured information and evidence makes development and life-cycle management of digital measures and solutions easier.
Reuse of Components
Structured information and evidence makes it easier to determine is the measure is fit for purpose in another context of use.
Identify Gaps
It is easy to identify gaps in information and evidence across the digital portfolio of your organization
Aligned to Standards & Protocols
Digital measures are aligned to standards and protocols to expedite regulatory acceptance.
The Stack Model gets its name from the three blocks that make up a digital measurement solution. The blocks are illustrated and explained below.
-
A definition block: describing the context of use (condition, population, what is being measured, and it’s interpretation)
-
A target solution profile (TSP) block: defines a technical modality that can be used to measure the concept of interest by defining the technical requirements to qualify for this profile.
-
An instrumentation block: defines a commercial instrument that qualifies for the selected modality profile.

Digital Measure Catalogs
The DEEP catalog provide a secure environment for private, shared and public libraries for publishing measures and components or sourcing them for a new measurement solution.
Benefits of the catalogs
-
Catalogs of measures makes it easier to share information with other organizations for pre-competitive collaboration (within missions).
-
The catalogs support the joint creation and submission of structured information and evidence to the regulatory bodies, HTAs and notified bodies.
Catalogs provide the following information:
-
What is being measured? Metadata that describes the measurement definition e.g. meaningful aspect of health & concept of interest, as well as context of use.
-
How is it being measured? Metadata that describes the target solution profile and the instrumentation.
-
How was the measurement method validated? Evidence to support the validation of the digital measure.
-
What do regulators think about it? Feedback from regulators: regulatory feedback history and qualification status of the whole digital measure solution.

Interest Register
The Interest Register is more than just a list, it is a dynamic platform designed to fuel collaboration within the DEEP Measures community.
It is a space where member companies can easily share their digital measure R&D interests and connect with others who share similar goals.
This fosters knowledge sharing, accelerates innovation, and ultimately propels the entire field forward!
Quick Mission Facts
The Value of Missions
Missions enable a multi-stakeholder co-creation of standards, solutions and evidence allowing significant benefits for re-use, sustainability and harmonization of information. This brings out economies of scale and completely transforms the development ecosystem.
Missions can be private or public
Missions have pre-defined templates for roles, contributions and access rights
Missions are enabled by a flexible and innovative legal framework
There are private and shared workspaces for dynamic workflow
The creation of digital documents enable cataloging and re-use
Missions
DEEP enables the collaborative development of digital measures through the Mission Platform. Collaboration missions can be launched to create a multi-stakeholder consortium to:
-
Align on definitions for novel endpoints
-
Co-create and validate a digital measurement solution
-
Seek regulatory acceptance from a regulatory agency
