WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition and retention of key accounts in the United States. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the US pharmaceutical and medical device market, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a highly autonomous position requiring a self-starter with the ability to work independently across time zones. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generation of market insights: get a pulse on market trends, competitive environment, and what customers are looking for.

  • Lead qualification and management: find the best leads and systematically manage them.

  • Sales pipeline development: cultivate opportunities to move them ever closer to a deal.

  • Revenue generation: close deals and achieve sales target metrics.

  • Customer relationship management: build on existing opportunities by learning about evolving needs of clients over time.

  • Operational support: together with the project management team, ensure an client service excellence in the delivery and execution of contracted programs

 

WHO YOU ARE
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven track record of sales and business development in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of the target market. You would be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Proven track record: minimum of 4 years of successful experience in a business development or sales role within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.

  • Industry expertise: in-depth knowledge of the drug development process, clinical trials, and regulatory landscape.

  • College degree in a related field, e.g., science, public health, engineering, or business.

  • Relationship building skills: exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong customer relationships, particularly with key accounts.

  • Business acumen: proven ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies within the pharmaceutical or medical device sector.

  • Results-oriented approach: a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  • Key account management experience: managing and growing key accounts, including relationship building, contract negotiation, and account planning.

  • Operational focus: demonstrated ability to contribute to operational tasks and support business processes.

  • Entrepreneurial drive and ambition to build a business from the ground up.
